Academics  

We offer a variety of academic resources to help cadets excel in their studies. Our team of experienced advisors are available to guide cadets through course selection, scheduling, and academic planning. We offer academic advising, tutoring services, and research consultations to help cadets succeed in all subject areas.

Advising

We understand that adjusting to life as a new cadet can be challenging.  Thats why our team of experienced advisors provide guidance and mentorship to help cadets navigate the challenges of college life as a cadet.

Tutoring

Located in the Tutoring Center housed in the Library Technology Center (LTC), the Tutoring Center has professional and peer tutors to help with mathematics, chemistry, computer science, physics and biology, and writing. Online Tutoring Services also provides online sessions for these subjects and more. 

Language Lab

The goal of the Language Lab is to promote, enhance, and support language learning through the use of state-of-art language pedagogies and innovative technology.

Writing Center

The Writing Center is the place UNG students can get help on any writing they’re working on. Peer and professional consultants provide half-hour consultations focused on student writers.

Specialized Mathematics

​The Department of Mathematics offers peer tutors to assist students in all UNG mathematics courses but specialize in statistics, precalculus, and calculus I, II & III.

Research Consultations

A research consultation is a one-on-one or small group appointment with a librarian for in-depth research assistance. They will try to match you with a librarian who has some expertise in the subject area of your research and arrange a time to teach you how to search for and identify quality information for your papers and projects.
